Sylvia (Walton)

Woman silhouetteRepresent this individual

I represent Sylvia, an enslaved negra woman in the household of Dorothy Walton. In her 1828 will, she leaves me to her grandson, Robert Watkins Walton. My four children are named in that will, though their ages are not given: Mary Ann, William Henry, Julia, and Robert.
