Benjamin Washington Taylor Cobb

I represent Benjamin Washington Taylor Cobb, son of the elder Ezekiel and Elizabeth Patience Jones Cobb. I was born in 1798 in Georgia, though my family was in Escambia County, Florida by 1805 when my mother died. I married Nancy C. Howell around 1820 or shortly after. By 1850 we had moved to Santa Rosa County, where I was a farmer and raised livestock. We had 9 children. I died in 1865 and am buried in the Jay Cemetery in Jay, Santa Rosa County, Florida.
