I represent Don Jose Gagnet (also spelled Gañe), a blanco man born in Pensacola. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 18 years old, and single. I lived in the household of my mother, the widow Doña Maria Felicita Lavalle Gagnet, and my two adult siblings. I worked as a silversmith.
