I represent Doña Luisa Gayarre, a blanca woman born in Louisiana. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 17 years old, single, and living in the household of Doña Carlota de Granpre, a widow. Also in the household was a child, Doña Luisa Benita Gayarre. The census does not explain the relationships in our household.
