I represent John Keyser. I was appointed as an alderman of Pensacola in 1821 by General Andrew Jackson, in the new American city government. Several advertisements appear to list me as an import/export broker and auctioneer. If I am the John Keyser buried in St. Michael’s Cemetery, I did not serve long, as I died in 1822.
