I represent Jose Maria, a blanco man born in Mexico. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 50 years old. I made my living as a cowboy on the ranch of Don Antonio Collins and was enumerated in his household in the census. I was single, but the Collins household included his wife and 6 children and his widowed sister-in-law.
