I represent Ana Maria Fernandez Orozco, a blanca woman born in Pensacola. I married Jose Orozco of Valencia, Spain in 1813 at St. Michael’s in Pensacola.
At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 19 years old. Jose made his living as a sailor and we had two young daughters. Also in our household was Luisa, a free parda girl; no familial relationship with us is specified, so she may have been a domestic.
