Doña Ana Maria La Cabaña Barela

I represent Doña Ana Maria La Cabaña Barela, a blanca woman born in New Orleans around 1790. My parents were Pedro and Luisa Maestras La Cabaña. I married Joaquin Barela of Galicia, Spain on July 16, 1815 at St. Michael’s in Pensacola. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 30 years old. Joaquin made his living as a shopkeeper, and we had three daughters.
