Ann (“Nancy”) May Cobb

I represent Ann (“Nancy”) May Cobb, the daughter of Athal Seaborn and Martha Patsy McMellon Cobb. My grandparents, the elder Ezekiel and Elizabeth Patience Jones Cobb, were here as early as 1805, so our family has a long history in the area. I was born in 1819 in Escambia County. I married Berrian (“Berry”) Dixon in 1844. Our 8 known children were born in Alabama and Santa Rosa County, Florida, where I lived most of my life. I died in 1866 in Conecuh County, Alabama.
