Benito Garcia

I represent Benito Garcia, a European man from Galicia, Spain. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 43 years old, single, and working as a pulpero, which can be translated as grocer or tavernkeeper. I lived in a household with Delaida Boteis, a free negra woman and our thre children. Also sharing our house was another free negra woman and her three children, but their relationship to me is unclear.
