Capt. John, Jr. Donelson

I represent Captain John Donelson, Jr. I was the brother of Rachel Donelson Jackson, the wife of General Andrew Jackson. I accompanied General Jackson to Pensacola when he came down in 1821, and had been there with him before in 1817, when I had invested in some land here. I died in 1830 and am buried at The Hermitage in Tennessee.
