I represent Celeste Pastor, a free woman of color living in Pensacola. I first appear in my request for a grant from the Spanish Crown for Lot No. 63, at the southwest corner of Zaragossa and Spring Streets, which I retained until I sold it in 1857. Unless I was listed under a different name, I do not appear in the 1820 census of Pensacola; though a passenger list in 1813 shows me going from Pensacola to New Orleans via schooner, so I may have gone back and forth during this time. No other information about my life has been found at this time.
