I represent Charlotte, an enslaved negra woman in the household of Dorothy Walton. In her 1828 will, she leaves me to her grandchildren, Robert Watkins Walton and Octavia Celestia Valentine Walton. My six children are named in that will, though their ages are not given: David, Landers, Susannah, Cecilia, Flora, and Lewis.
