I represent Don Esteban Sierra, a blanco boy born in Pensacola. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 2 years old. I lived in a large household with my parents, Don Eugenio and Doña Francisca Dauphin Sierra; my 5 siblings, my elderly widowed grandfather, Don Francisco Dauphin, and my uncle, Don Santiago Dauphin. I died young, in 1853; my gravestone in St. Michael’s cemetery says “Stephen E. Sierra.”
