Don Francisco Bellestre

I represent Don Francisco Bellestre, a blanco man born in Louisiana. In previous years, I was a Captain in the Louisiana Regiment of Infantry and I commanded the fort at San Carlos de Barrancas. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was retired, 56 years old, single, and living with Nancy Gorman, a free woman of color.
