Don Nazario Gonzalez

I represent Don Nazario Gonzalez, a blanco boy born in Pensacola. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 8 years old. I was a son of the rancher Manuel Gonzalez, a Spaniard, and our house outside of town was where General Andrew Jackson and his troops camped when he first arrived in the area. Our household was large and consisted of my parents and 8 siblings, including two who were married and had small children.
