Doña Mariana Lavalle Gallegos

I represent Doña Mariana Lavalle, a blanca woman born in Louisiana in about 1767. I was listed in the Pensacola census of 1784 in the household of my husband, Don Juan Gallegos, and a negra slave named Luisa. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 53 years old, and a widow. I shared a household with Doña Ysabel Lavalle, whose relationship to me is unclear.
