I represent Gertrudis Sierra LeSassier. My parents were Eugenio and Maria Josefa Calder Sierra. I married Lt. Cirilo Josef LeSassier of New Orleans on March 6, 1812 at St. Michael’s parish in Pensacola. He was commander of San Marcos de Apalache, and while he was stationed there, I lived in Pensacola. In April of 1821, Cirilo gave me his power of attorney to conduct business on his behalf in Pensacola.
