James Edward Simpson

I represent James Edward Simpson. I was born in 1807 in South Carolina. My parents brought the family down to the Pensacola area around 1814 from Abbeville, South Carolina. We settled on the Blackwater River and we had the Woodbine Mill up and running by 1820. I died in Santa Rosa County in 1871 and am buried in St. Michael’s cemetery.
