I represent Joseph C. Keyser. I was born about 1794, the son of John Keyser, who was named one of the original alderman in the new American government of Pensacola. I appear in the first edition of The Floridian after the exchange of power as a merchant, doing business with my father. I died in 1854 and am buried in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
