Joseph Mills White

I represent Joseph M. White. I was born in Franklin County, Kentucky, in 1781. I became a lawyer and moved to Pensacola in 1821. I was first elected to Congress to represent the Florida Territory in 1825. After a successful political career in which I usually ran against the “Jacksonian” candidate, I died in St. Louis, Missouri in 1839.
