I represent Juanillo Garcia, a free pardo boy born in Pensacola. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 6 years old. I lived in a household with my mother, Delaida Boteis, a free negra woman, and my two siblings, in the household of Benito Garcia, a Spanish business owner. Also sharing our house was another free negra woman and her three children, but their relationship to me is unclear.
