I represent Colonel Francisco Palmes. I am listed in the 1791 Holy Visit to Penascola by the Bishop of Tricali among those having made confession and taken communion in 1790. In my wife’s 1840 will, she states that I was a “Knight of the Royal Order of San Hermenegildo and of Isabel the Catholic, Lieutenant Colonel of Infantry, etc.”
Lt. Col. Francisco Palmes
