Lucia Marcos

I represent Lucia Marcos, a free parda woman born in Pensacola. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 20 years old and working as a seamstress. I lived in the household of Victoria Marcos, a free negra woman, and another free parda woman. While it seems apparent that Victoria was my mother, it is not specified which of us younger women is the mother of the three young children in the household.
