I represent Margarita Bobe Quina, a blanca woman born in Pensacola around 1796. My parents were Tomas and Maria Sierra y Salazar Bobe. I married Desiderio Quina of Italy on September 27, 1813 at St. Michael’s in Pensacola, by which time my father had passed away.
At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 24 years old. Desiderio was working as a shopkeeper and we had hree young children. Also in our household were my two brothers and a blanca teenager whose relationship to us is not clear.
