I represent Maria Aponte, a blanca woman of 45 years old at the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola. I was a widow, living in the household of Diego Quintero, along with two girls – Maria and Margarita – who were probably my daughters, and another young man who was a cartwright like Diego. I was born in Louisiana.
