I represent Musa, an enslaved man in the household of Victoire LeSassier. I was listed in Victoire LeSassier’s 1830 complaint of divorce from Don Pedro de Alba as being an accerrador, which can be interpreted as either a locksmith or possibly someone who held household keys. I was 46 years old, though this probably referred to my age in 1813, when the late Don Jose Noriega’s property was divided between Victoire and her son.
