Reuben Bowman

I represent Reuben Bowman, son of James and Susanna Bowman. I was born in 1800 in Camden, Kershaw District, South Carolina. I came with my family to the Florida Territory around 1816, where we are recorded in Clarke County, Alabama. We later came to Escambia County, where in 1825 I married Mary (“Polly”) Townley. We had ten children. I died in 1853 and am buried in Little Pine Barren Cemetery.
