Santiago

I represent Santiago, a free pardo man born in Pensacola. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 23 years old and made my living as a fisherman. I lived with my mother Maria Marta, a free negra woman who worked as a laundress, and my three siblings. The census did not record a surname for me.
