Unnamed Spanish Officer

I represent one of 3 unnamed Spanish officers from the garrison at San Marcos de Apalache who were included in the count submitted to General Andrew Jackson of Spanish subjects needing evacuation after the transfer of power to the Americans. We left on ships like the HORNET, the Tom Shields, and the Ann Maria, headed first for Havana and then, perhaps, to other parts of the Spanish empire. The soldiers coming from San Marcos de Apalache arrived in Pensacola on July 15, 1821.
