I represent Don Antonio Collins, a blanco man born in Pensacola. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 32 years old and married to Maria Pyburn Collins with 6 children. I was a rancher. Also in our household was my sister-in-law, the widow Doña Fabia (Phoebe) Pyburn Turvin, and a cowhand from Mexico named Jose Maria. An 1807 request for a Spanish land grant says that it had been three years since I relocated to Pensacola from Pascagoula after the deaths of my parents.
