I represent Doña Agustina deClouet, a blanca woman born in Pensacola. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 29, the widow of Joseph Augustin deClouet; my three children and I were living in the household of Doña Josefa Palmes Crespo who was my widowed mother, and four of my siblings. My late husband was Lieutenant of the First Battalion in the Louisiana Regiment; he died in Pensacola in 1817, at the age of 42.
