Clara (Serra)

I represent Clara, a negra woman enslaved in the household of Don Ygnacio Serra. I was born in Africa, around 1798. I was baptized by Father Coleman at St. Michael’s on October 8, 1818, at which time my age was estimated at about 20 years. There is no information on my parents in the record.
