Cristobal Ariola

I represent Cristobal Ariola, a blanco man from Italy living in Pensacola. I was 62 at the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, working as a carpenter. I lived with a free morena woman named Dorotea and we had four children together (Spanish West Florida did not have the same social taboos against mixed race families as Anglo-American society at the time). We also shared our home with a free negra named Elena Amberg whose relationship to us is not specified.
