I represent Don Pedro Philibert, a European man born in Barville, Lorraine, France around 1760. My parents were Nicolas of Barville, and Cathalina Marchal, a native of Aouix in Lorraine. My first wife was Genoveva Wilson. After she died, I married Maria Luisa Martin y Dainesse (also spelled Denes) in 1794 in New Orleans.
At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 60 years old and made my living as a farmer. We shared our household with four of our adult children, two of whom were married.
