I represent Doña Marina Ordoñez, the widow Crespo, a European woman born in Ceuta, Spain (geographically in Africa). My parents were Luis Manuel and Maria de la Concepcion Garcia Ordoñez. I married Jose Crespo, son of Vicente and Josefa Palmes Crespo, on April 10, 1811 at St. Michael’s in Pensacola.
At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 28 years old, and widowed. I lived alone. At the time of my death in 1857, I was married to John Rosique. I am buried in St. Michael’s cemetery.
