I represent Doña Maria Josefa deClouet, a blanca girl born in Pensacola on February 17, 1813. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 8 years old. My parents were Joseph Augustin and Doña Agustina deClouet. I and my two sisters were living with my widowed mother in the household of Doña Josefa Palmes Crespo, who was my grandmother, and four of my aunts and uncles. I eventually went to live in Havana, Cuba.
