I represent Victoria Eufrosina, a negra girl enslaved in the household of Doña Carlota Constanza de Grand Pré, the widow Gayarre. I was baptized by Father Coleman at St. Michael’s on June 30, 1821, at which time my age was estimated at about 9 years old. There is no information on my parents or where I came from.
