I represent Don Manuel Bonifay, a blanco man born in Pensacola. My parents were Doña Mariana Pingrow Bonifay and the late Don Jose Bonifay, Sr. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 35 years old. I lived with my wife, Doña Teresa Yniestra Bonifay, and 8 children on our farm outside of town. I am buried in St. Michael’s cemetery.
