Doña Josefa Candelaria Lavalle

I represent Doña Josefa Candelaria Lavalle, a blanca girl born in Pensacola. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 14 years old and living with my parents, Don Carlos Lavalle and Doña Mariana Bonifay Lavalle. I had 3 siblings in the household and one niece. I married Joseph Riera on July 25, 1831 in Pensacola. I died at the age of 83; my burial appears in the records of St. Michael’s parish: March 4, 1889.
