I represent Don Fernando Cristin (also called Ferdinand Christin), a blanco man born in Pensacola. At the time of the 1820 census of Pensacola, I was 25 years old, living as a farmer in the household of my brother-in-law, Don Jose Noriega. Don Jose was the son of Don Jose Noriega, Sr., and Victoire LeSassier; my sister, Amelia or Emilie, was his wife. I was the child of Rosa LeSassier and the late Louis Christin. When Mme. Victoire died, her son had predeceased her, and she left most of her property to me.
