I represent John Van de Voorhees, M.D. I was a physician who practiced in Pensacola. In July 1821, General Andrew Jackson appointed me as Health Officer in the new American government of Pensacola. I became medical partners with Dr. James Bronaugh. I died of a pulmonary disease in April 1822.
